The BIG Reveal: Our Growing Table of Contents

Posted by Steve Davidson (Creator)
Welcome to our Wednesday update!

By the way, are you planning on attending Worldcon 76 in San Jose? Good news! We plan to be there as well and we’ll be giving away free copies of our first new issue!

And now, without further ado, here are the current authors we've purchased stories from for our very first print issue of Amazing Stories!

We are pleased to announce the following writers have contributed stories; Kameron Hurley, Paul Levinson, Dave Creek, Shirley Meier, Drew Hayden Taylor, and Allen Steele

While we’re excited about all our authors, let us tell you a little bit about Kameron Hurley and her story:

Kameron has been publishing fiction and non-fiction since 1998, with stories published in Lightspeed, Beneath Ceaseless Skies,, Escape Pod, Talebones and other venues, as well as producing two series and her latest novel The Stars Are Legion

She has won the The Samuel J. Bounds Award for best new writer, a Kitschie for best debut novel, a Hugo Award for Best Fan writer and another Hugo for Best Related Work and has been nominated for The Clarke Award, the Nebula, a BSFA Award, a Locus Award and is on the Tiptree Award Honor Roll.

Kameron first came to wide attention with the publication of her essay "'We Have Always Fought': Challenging the 'Women, Cattle and Slaves' Narrative" in 2012 (a must read for anyone engaging with diversity within the SF community) and has been a force to reckon with ever since.

Kameron's story for Amazing Stories is an exciting one, featuring two genetically modified mercenaries hunting down one of their own in a rapidly-thawing Alaska.

Over the next several weeks we'll be bringing you additional reveals of our stories and other content, including details of Allen Steele's lead novella and believe us, you're not going to want to miss it!

Don’t want to get updates on the Kickstarter in your email? We can’t control that for you - but go here to learn how to opt-out:
