"Unnatural: Horror Creatures" brings incommodious presences to your RPG and Wargames tables in the shape of ill anthropomorphous beings in 28mm - 1/56 scale.
In addition to the physical miniatures, we will offer as add-ons the 3D files: the digital version of the models, in .STL format for personal/home 3D printing.
This set of models and personalities are part of Magrieb, the fantasy setting from Menhir Games (under develpment) and features "The Bio-Engineer", a powerfull renegade Channeller.
Hidding in the cold north he is using his channelled energy to mutate and turn natural creatures into unnatural horrible beings; a herd of haunting horrors used as tools to an end: punish the civilization, siege cities, overthrow empires, overturn those institutions that gives false power to the unfit... in the end: to hunt & devour those unworthy of life and persistence, to The Engineer eyes.
Based on Argentina, Menhir Games was founded in october 2013 by Ramiro Olano. The mission of the company is to create and develop an extensive and detailed fictional world, a low-fantasy setting used as base to develop a wide range of immersive content such as graphic art, text (stories, adventures) RPGs and tabletop games with collectible miniatures.
SHIPPING information: We made 3 scalable flat rates: for USA, Europe and Rest of World. It shows the base cost plus shipping cost each 100 grams (rounding up). Rest of world doesnt have a base cost to add, but yes a minimum shipping cost of 21 USD.
Risks and challenges
With the experience we gathered on our three previous "Fantasy Champions" campaigns, in which we produced metal and resin miniatures, we can assure that the production of the miniatures will be done in 4-5 months after the cammpaign finishes. The shipping process will begin right after that and will span one month.
All the models from the Main Goal are already sculpted and will be printed during the campaign, to allow us to fully dedicate the time after the end of the Kickstarter to the mold-making, production and shipping.
We have already delivered 3 miniature-related campaigns on time, and one of 3D files for printing.
We are currently still on the production stage of another Kickstarter, that we ran with a second company, and which involved plastic injected pieces - a technology for which we had the knowledge but not the experience. This lack of experience on the matter brought us many delays due to a slow production process, but this won't affect AT ALL to the metal and resin miniatures from the current Kickstarter.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
