The new Holman Arts and Media Center is a result of the extreme generosity of Rob and Robin Holman, and many other donors who made this wonderful art facility possible.
We're now in phase two, and the Holman's have again given us a donation to start the construction of the kiln yard. They have promised to match any donations that come in to fund this project.
The total needed to construct the kiln yard is approximately $100,000. We set our Kickstarter goal at $20,000, but need more funding. If we're extremely lucky, and receive more than we need for the kiln yard, the overage will be used to complete other elements of the HAMC (Holman Arts and Media Center).
In addition to our academic programs, we're nationally known for our great public summer workshop program, and we offer adult community classes, children's classes, and host community outreach events such as Empty Bowls and Help Portrait.
Our outdoor gas kilns are currently out in the elements. We hope to start construction this spring. Your contribution will help make this possible, and remember, ever dollar donated will be matched by the Holmans.

Risks and challenges
The kiln structure has been designed, engineered, and approved. The challenge is to have funding in place so we can build the kiln structure during the summer months at Lake Tahoe.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
