I have just finished recording my new album 'Butterfly Song' which has taken me 2 years to make, through rain, snow, sunshine and dullness, and the consumption of many spicy chai teas and cakes.
Through the kindness and generosity of friends and guest musicians, I have been able to get this album recorded, mostly in my home recording studio, as well as mixed and mastered by my friend Laz Harris but now I need the funds to actually make the CDs. I am still a humble independent musician, so I act as my own manager, producer, engineer, distributor, housekeeper and therapist on a budget of $0 and I would really cherish your support. In return I would love to share my heartfelt music with you, my humour about life itself and get to know more about you and have you be part of this new journey!
Whilst I realize we live in a digital age, I still think there is something really valuable about a tangible CD that you can hold in your hand, knowing that the energy from the artist has been burned into forever. I would personally like to indelibly stamp this CD with my positive healing intent for you and the earth. To me it’s an invaluable tool, like a talking stick handed from person to person. Plus what better way than to reduce the carbon footprint by making it an Eco Wallet made with natural products and biodegradable and recyclable packaging?
$1500 for a standard CD production run using Eco Wallets! If there are any excess funds I would love to pay some of the musicians who lovingly donated their time and talents for free.
This also includes fees of approx $150 for this project, plus postage
Butterfly Song is a story of metamorphosis, transformation, passion and compassion. It aims to soothe your soul, help comfort heartbreak, put a smile on your face and make you think about your world. It is practical and whimsical, happy and sad, as well as many other shades in-between.
I am the Queen of cross-genre! and this album is no exception. It is a hybrid of electronic, pop and folk music. It takes you on a kaleidoscopic journey melding the ambient and acoustic with my voice as your guide.

Thank you for supporting me on Kickstarter which could firstly transform this idea into the reality of CDs, as well as help me progress into being a full-time musician and musical/healing messenger. I really hope you enjoy my new album and feel the love from which it was made. This is my way of helping to bring about positive change in the world because it really comes from my heart.
If you have any questions please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, I'd love to hear from you.
