S-T-R-E-T-C-H Goals!

Holy test tube, Batman! We're 70% of the way to our goal with the campaign less than a week old. While we hoped there was a silent army of science geeks out there looking for some hot worker-on-worker placement action it is thrilling to see it in action. Thank you, backers: you are the best!!!

Of course, with Kickstarter success comes the cry for stretch goals. Friends, we've put a lot of thought into these puppies. Even early-ish into the design process we were thinking about these. We've got a bunch of them, and one of the very best we're putting at a low and, at our current pace, easily achievable level. Now, for starters we're only revealing the first two. Each time one is met, we will show the next one. If there is a super awesome stretch goal just beyond it we might reveal them two out. So, without any further ado...

Desktop backgrounds for all five scientists. These will be delivered in multiple formats, including PDF. They will focus only on the scientists themselves, using the same art style featured in the game but designed to showcase and celebrate the scientists. This is a nice, little "thank you" for making the campaign a success.

Five extra "All-Stars" included FREE with every game. We're not announcing who they are just yet but they will be fully playable in the core game. As a hint none of them were alive during the scientific revolution. They will be printed on the same high-quality mats as the in-game scientists and included with your shipped copy. You can mix-and-match with the in-game scientists or play with them as an alternate set. As much as possible we did rate them in ways that differentiates them from our "core five". We will reveal more about these as the total climbs closer to $50,000. You are going to love our choices here...

Finally, while we have Stretch Rewards in mind that exceed even the $100K level here, we are open to your ideas. So feel free to comment on this update with anything you think might be cool!

Thanks again for your support. Have a nice weekend!

Cool, I guess I didn't realize how much time was left. Good Luck!

The campaign is on pace to exceed $50,000, granting both of the currently announced awards. The intent of stretch goals is to stretch the campaign even farther, beyond what we are on pace for!

I wish there wasn't such big gaps between the funding and the first stretch reward (double the money for some desktop backgrounds) and then between the first two stretch rewards (More than three times the money for the new scientists).

Oh well, I guess I can be happy with the game at least.

Thank you for the thrilling addition. Would you like to create a small graphic representation of the stretch goals and put it on the main page? In fact this was sth I was looking for at the first glance and felt a bit uneasy not to find such a section.

Neat stretch goals! Here is hoping this works out well.
