We have been a band for a long time, and have known each other for even longer. In the past 3 years we have played countless amounts of shows and have gotten to go on tours and play in many different states. This band has been the most important thing in all of our lives and has allowed us to do things we would have never dreamed we would be doing. We have written more songs than i can even remember and 90% of them no one will ever hear because we never recorded them or even played them live. In the years we have been most active as a band we have only recorded and release 8 songs. Over the past year we have been slowly writing songs and on November 3rd we are going to start tracking drums for our first full length. We are going to get to spend a week in Head Room Studio at Big Mamas in Philly and put everything we have into these recordings. We are excited to be able to stay in one place and record an album from start to finish with no interruptions. As everyday this date gets closer and closer, i worry more and more about how we are going to afford it. We have never been a very demanding band money-wise. We are always scraping by trying to pay our van, gas, insurance, excise tax, cost of playing and touring instruments, and the list goes on. Nothing we have done would ever have happened without the support from our friends and people coming to shows. I will never forget or take for granted that people have always been there for us and kept us going. My least favorite thing is having to ask my friends for money, even when they owe it to. So this is even harder because no one owes us anything. Every dollar counts and will help us out hugely in funding this album. It is going to cost us near $1500 to make this record. And we are going to make it worth it.
