Here's a quick recap from Issue #1...
The Year is 2015. The Chinese Zodiac calls this the Year of the Goat, a celebration of promise and prosperity. It was Wrong!
As swarms of black birds fill the sky, goats across the world are turning demonic, one by one. And their prey...any human who crosses their path.
The Goatpocalype has begun!
Now for Issue #2...
The goats continue their path to world domination. Their numbers are growing at an alarming rate as they appear all over the world. And now they have guns! We also see something very unexpected happen when a shop owner guns down a pack of the evil goats. And we get to learn a little more about that mysterious figure from the last page of issue #1!!!
Get ready for more slashing, more horror, more Goatpocalyptic Destruction...(and some laughs) in Year of the Goat Issue #2!
Our story begins in Mother Russia where a pack of wild goat-demons sworm downtown Moscow. Their goal…kill every human in their path, pillage the city and loot the local Weapons and Ammo store.
We then head over to the mountains of France as the USA's very own Pete G. (Hi Pete!) leads the Tour de Chèvre bike race. Let's keep our fingers crossed that Pete makes it to the finish line in one piece!
The issue then takes a quick look at what the heck is going on in other parts of the world including China, London, India, and elsewhere.
We then head over to a small desert town in New Mexico to see what the local biker gang is up to. Remember the "no pants" scene in issue 1 that made you throw up in your mouth?...Then get ready for this part in issue #2!
Issue #2 ends with a few pages of the mysterious figure from the final page of Issue #1. We still don't much about this guy but something very interesting is revealed about him in the end of issue #2!
Here's a sneak peek!
Wait, Your Comic is about WHAT?...
Is what people say when we explain the story. We've actually had things thrown at us, been called not-so-nice names and even heard a few I-just-threw-up-in-my-mouth's when we explained the premise. That's how we know this story kicks ass!
Year of the Goat is an ongoing self-published independent comic book that can best be described as the Walking Dead meets Planet of the Apes meets Animal Farm….except with a whole bunch of goats. We are publishing the comic under the Independent Company, SpellBound Comics. Issue #1 kicked ass and just wait until you read issue #2!
The comic has 24 pages of black, white and red horror, written by Tom Spellman and features artwork by Rafael Chrestani. John Rudwall red-shaded and worded the comic. The Variant a Cover is drawn by Verry Woong and colored by Fahriza Kamaputra.
