Is the AR4 E compatible with Google's ARCore & Cardboard?

Yes, our AR4 E headset is fully compatible with Google ARCore and all Google Cardboard software.

The AR4 E has four major modes: 2D Panoramic, 3D Stereo x AR4 Camera Optics, Direct Camera Optics – and is fully interchangeable and reversible.  This is unique to the AR4 and one of great advantages over other VR and other AR headset.

The 3D Stereo-Direct Camera Optics mode is identical to Google Cardboard/Gear VR/Camera Enabled AR.  No modification screen orientation, apps or software is required.

Our preferred AR4 E Optics mode requires the insertion of a Quaternion flip (0,-1,0,0) on the active program camera. We will providing a update over the weekend with a detailed exposition of the modes and software for Android Studio, United and Unreal.

We will be including enabling Apps including an AR4 E global wrap, viewers for 2D, 3D and 360 photos and videos, remote phone and video conferencing, camera, sensors, and gaming.  The AR4 E is compatible with 2D handheld games such as Pokeman Go, 2D Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Youtube and other video apps, and all VR 3D games.

We appreciate your questions and comments.
