The lavender was really rather potent! Too potent for some, as it turned out. I suspect better packaging would have helped, and would have helped it to last until next spring when I may actually have use of Geizeer. I'll put it in a better bag and hope for the best, but I do have some lavender oil so its easy enough for me to refresh.
More worrying was that the metal trim fell out of the top of mine. I don't think it was supposed to do that. I'd appreciate advice on the best way to fix it. The metal trim around the edges is a bit sharp for my liking, but no big deal there.
The fan was better than I expected - once I'd found the speed switch which was a bit hidden. The magnets were also a very good idea, and I like the wood finish. :)

Hi Laura. We're really sorry for inconvenience. The only thing we can tell you is that our Lavander perfume is totally natural and hypoallergenic and we've chosen it precisely for this reason. Furthermore, we published a lot of updates about our improvements for Geizeer, where we talked about Lavander perfume too. If you had told us sooner, we wouldn't put the perfume sachet in your package. Anyway, we think that it is enough to throw the perfume and put Geizeer in the open air for some time and the scent will come out of the wood product.

No I wasn't aware. That is my main complaint. The project was sold as primary scent diffuser.
The primary function, I figured was the "swamp" cooling effect.
So, since I was one of first round sent outs.
I didn't see anything about a lavender satchel included as a perk. If I missed it I apologize for getting so upset... but I know realized that it was the box after reading the email that said 2 round package had been sent.
If I missed it previously stated - that's on me.
Having said that, if I had known - I would have reached out asap.
I just felt that the makers should be made aware of the strength of the scent. In your example-you stated that you could smell the scent through the box.
As could I, hence the state of my vehicle... I never expected air freshener to be included I the box.
So I didn't suspect the box.

@Laura honestly you were aware of the fact that you were getting lavender air freshener with it, no? I've never come across any aroma-type product which is completely scent-proof, so if you are so incredibly sensitive to these kinds of things, you could've alerted the Geizeer team. I'm sure they would've taken care of it.
Besides that, I could smell the lavender through the box when I got it, so I'm a bit surprised you didn't, then left it in your car, and now find it so pungent you cant stand it?
And I'm not saying this to be mean, I'm a migraine patient myself, so I know how much you're suffering.
A little heads up would have been enough to prepare me for the task of removing this item before leaving said box in my vehicle to marinate in the pungent aroma.

Received mine yesterday. Nice and quiet and beautifully crafted. Seems to give out a nice breeze on all power settings. Just a shame I won't be able to use mine properly for about 6 months here in the UK ;-)
Mine arrived today as well. The outside looks great, it's quiter than I thought and on max speed the fan really delivers. A small downside was the metal trim on the bottom half which came off, the glue just didn't stick. This was quickly resolved with some 2-component epoxy glue though :-)
A VERY complete package, nicely packaged and a wonderful product. Also, my entire house now smells like lavender, and I haven't even opened the fragrance packages yet...

The charge on your creditcard will be done when a KS has reached it's goal in the timeframe set by the creator. After that you have to wait for your product to be sent. If it is not funded, the KS project will fail, and no charge will be made, and nothing will be shipped.
Hello! I was curious, how will the charge appear on my credit/debit statement? And will it appear after my backing is shipped or before? I'm verifying some purchases and found a fee that I don't remember making. :) Thanks for all the updates!

Good to hear. Just to prove my point, another Kickstarter project I backed recalled their entire inventory today due to a battery fire, despite going through all the tests they thought prudent. Check, check, and check again.

Please take all the time you need with the batteries. Safety is absolutely vital when it comes to Li-Ion/Li-Po batteries - if you don't get this right, they overheat and explode. No ifs, no buts.
2.5m recalled Samsung Galaxy Note 7s are testament to what happens if you rush battery design (this, by the way, includes the safety circuits inside Geizeer).
Besides, summer is now over, so I won't be needing Geizeer for six months anyway.

When I first raised the condensation issue in May, you wrote "yes, the ice pack draw humidity and leaves a very small pool of water. To prevent damage to the wood, the base, which supports the ice pack, it is made of metal. In addition, we are considering to make on the metal a kind of wings (like a small bowl) in such a way that the condensate does not enter in the inner part (where there are the electrical components) and does not touch the lateral wood. In addition, under the metal we thought about putting another rubber isolator. To remove condensation when the gel will be thawed, you can just pass a piece of paper napkin." Did you create the bowl shaped metal pan, because on humid days, as you have by now noticed, an ice pack gathers a significant pool of water. Without setting this otherwise elegant device over a dish, this water would damage any wooden table unless wiped up more quickly than most anyone would do on a regular basis. That is, unless your metal internal dish can contain it. Every time I use my Koolmore (KS predecessor to this product) the plastic internal pan has ~ 1 ounce of water from condensation. I ask because I did not see room for this condensation pan in your various pictures.
