We've invented Porcelite and now we want to bottle it up and share it with others. The use of fired clay began in 24,000 B.C. The invention of the potter's wheel was a major transformation in the fabrication of ceramics. Now, we introduce Porcelite as the next innovative step in Ceramic 3D Printing for our generation.
Porcelite is a porcelain UV curable resin for use in SLA or DLP 3D printers. Anyone with a UV-based 3D printer, whether a professional or hobbyist can now print in this ceramic composite.
Objects removed directly from the printer are a solid ceramic composite. Upon kiln firing, Porcelite transforms to a 100% porcelain object suitable for glazing or other finishes.
One of the advantages of SLA/DLP printing, is the high resolution details that are achievable, ideal for industrial parts or jewelry.
Use of Funds
Our current process involves hand measuring and mixing, pouring directly into the 3D printer resin trays. To make Porcelite resin commercially available directly to the consumer, we need to mass produce and bottle it for shipment. This will require an investment in automated materials processing, bottling and packaging equipment.

We want to share our expertise with you. That's why we're offering workshops for individuals or groups. Come learn from us on-site so that you can start 3D printing in ceramic! We have a beautiful studio and guest house.
If you are unable to travel, we are available for Skype tutorials for you personally - or for an entire classroom of students. We want to increase awareness throughout the world about ceramic 3D printing!
Experiences will be customized to the participant's needs and time available, including 3D scanning, 3D computer modeling for ceramics, 3D printing with powder/ink jet binder or SLA/DLP technologies and post fabrication finishing of 3D printed ceramics.
Risks and challenges
The suppliers of our raw materials are on board and waiting to send us the quantity of materials that we need to mass produce Porcelite once we know the quantities needed.
