Everyone loves it when families perform music together, right?
Which is probably why this unique father and son recording project is so eagerly anticipated by so many people. Graham Ord (acoustic guitar/ vocals) and Aaron Ord (Celtic harp/vocals/percussion) are a father and son duo from Kelowna, B.C. Canada, who are loved for their heartfelt songs, complex instrumentals and powerful spoken word. They are appreciated widely for their compelling and unique live performances. In early 2016, after performing live at many venues around B.C., they booked into the prestigious Bottega studios in Kelowna, B.C., to record their debut recording together entitled "Bouquet of Kindness".

Here's where we need your help
The recording and mixing of the CD is now complete, and first impressions are that it is sounding very sweet! It is a beautifully recorded CD, and is an authentic representation of what we sound like live. Few overdubs were done on the recording and so the sound is simple and stripped down, yet still captures the power and intensity of the guitar and harp in the performances.
The next stage will be to get the music professionally mastered which will be done by the Juno award winning Jamie Sitar. Then the cover will be designed professionally so that it can be packaged and manufactured ready for sale by Christmas (if all goes to plan).
Partner with us please
Please would you consider being part of our journey with this recording by contributing to the project so that we can see it completed? We are encouraging donations of various amounts between $5 and $100+ and in gratitude for these donations, we will share the music with you once it is released.
We are hopeful that you will really enjoy the finished work as much as we have enjoyed creating it.
Graham and Aaron.
Risks and challenges
We have calculated the costs of completing the CD project based on actual quoted prices for Mastering, Design, and duplication based on the initial manufacture of 500 units. Crowd-funding will enable us to meet these costs without having to extend our own personal credit.
It is our sincere intention to finish this project and to deliver the CD's to those who have got behind it as well as to a wider market in time.
If we are able to raise more money than the $1500 target set here then that money would be used to manufacture more copies of the CD.
If some unforeseen factor prevents us from completing this project, and you have given to it through this crowd funding initiative, then all your donation will be returned to you without question or obligation.
