SEAMLESS FORM AND FUNCTION
ODOC is a minimal, timeless design that cues user intuition. Simply twist ODOC’s cylindrical form to set the perfect angle for viewing and using the iPhone’s touchscreen display. A ball-bearing mechanism locks the cylinder in five different positions. This patent-pending design intrigues and delights the user through its intuitive function. The cylinder holds iPhones with or without cases, and its weight is sufficient for single-handed iPhone removal. Backrests of different thicknesses adjust for the iPhone without a case and with cases of different thicknesses, storing inside the cylinder when not in use.
A glass disk finishes both ends of the cylinder. Grab ODOC's o-ring to twist the cylinder into one of five iPhone viewing angles.
EASY & RELIABLE CONNECTIVITY
ODOC's weight holds it down when you pick up the iPhone. Your connection is reliable because no "special" 30-pin connector is needed. There's also a shielded line level audio connector for playing iTunes on your stereo.
SIMPLE DESIGN THAT COMPLIMENTS THE iPHONE
Design, materials and finishes complement the iPhone like no other dock. Crafted from cast aluminum alloy and NC-machined to precision tolerances, ODOC is assembled with inlaid glass and stainless steel hardware. The elastomeric foot prevents slippage while the o-ring gives the perfect grip for twisting the cylinder.
BLACK, WHITE OR CLEAR OVER ALUMINUM?
The deep finish is a high-gloss powder-coat, available in black, white and clear over matte-aluminum.
There's plenty of room under and around the iPhone, so the speaker and microphone are not blocked - even with a case. ODOC's generous iPhone pocket is a natural sound amplifier, so you can play your tunes at a higher volume.
The adjustable tilt angle makes typing and scrolling a breeze. ODOC's weight keeps it very stable. With ODOC you can comfortably surf the internet while charging your iPhone!
VIDEO CALL ADVANTAGE
Twisting the cylinder locks it to just the right position - putting you in perfect frame for hands-free video calls.

Undocking: One handed - remove the iPhone and ODOC stays put. A special connector is not needed because of ODOC's weight!
Input/Output: USB charging/syncing port, shielded line-level audio output, zero frustration.
Replaceable elastomeric inserts (shown below) support the iPhone with or without a protective case and with cases of different thicknesses. Unused inserts are stored inside the cylinder, behind the connector panel, so they won't get lost.
PLEDGE AMOUNTS AND SHIPPING CHARGES
ODOC weighs almost three pounds to overcome the Apple 30-pin connector's friction and permit one-handed iPhone removal. Another benefit of the weight is ODOC's stability when using iPhone's touchscreen. The downside is the shipping expense! So please be sure to add shipping cost to your pledge amount.
WHERE YOUR CONTRIBUTION GOES
A lot of sweat-equity and some savings went into design, prototype development, and finding the best sources for production manufacturing and off-shelf parts. Your help will get ODOC into production by funding the following expenses:
- $2,000 final prototypes that include (mold) draft angles to insure the precision fit of assembled parts.
- $32,000 molds for die castings, NC machining fixtures, plastic injection mold and sheet metal progressive-die.
- $8,000 printed circuit assembly development.
- $10,000 agency compliance testing.
- $33,000 first production run.
