A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. This gallery features photos, videos, and other visual documentation that will give backers a sense of what’s been accomplished so far and what’s left to do. Though the development process can vary for each project, these are the stages we typically see:
Proof of Concept
Explorations that test ideas and functionality.
Demonstrates the functionality of the final product, but looks different.
Looks like the final product, but is not functional.
Appearance and function match the final product, but is made with different manufacturing methods.
Appearance, function, and manufacturing methods match the final product.
Risks and challenges
We believe Kickstarter is the right platform to launch CYCO and bring our idea to life because this is where innovative ideas are welcomed and where the status quo is challenged. Although this involves a risk, we believe this risk is worth it and we believe that our backers will support CYCO as an innovative technology that will contribute to health and be good for everyone.
We understand that medication, disease, and chronic illness are very serious issues in the world today that touch most people’s lives at some point. Because of this, we believe CYCO is useful to everyone who deals with these issues personally, either as a professional caregiver or as a family member.
To offset the risks and challenges involved with creating CYCO, we developed and tested 4 generations of prototypes using FDA-approved product materials. We also spent considerable time considering the many scenarios and preferences of our users to ensure that the product will address their needs. We also have secured patents and manufacturing to make sure we deliver CYCO to backers as quickly as possible.
We have selected a supplier that has extensive experience in producing medical accessories, products, and equipment to minimize the chances of unforeseen production issues that sometimes happen. Our brand stands for quality - a promise from our brand owners to each and every customer who supports us and our mission to make taking medication easier than ever before.
