Our founders say it all the time. “Memphis is a beer town!” We believe that the people of this town want and deserve more variety and quality and we think we’re the people to give it to them. By placing our brewery in the Crosstown neighborhood, we really want to help build a new and exciting community in this city. Turning our dream into a reality is a daunting task, though, and we really need some support from our fellow Memphians to take care of some of the initial expenses of our adventure. By contributing to Crosstown Brewing Company, you’re helping to the ensure the success of a business that will always focus on giving back to the community that we call home.
Crosstown Brewing Company is the intersection of our love for the city of Memphis and our burning passion for quality craft beer.We believe that Memphis is a city on the rise and we can’t wait to be a part of that return to greatness. Our contribution to that resurgence is to give the city more Memphis beer that it can be proud of and placing our brewery in the Crosstown community.By committing our business to this neighborhood we’re helping to show the world the incredible things our city is capable of when we all work together. Our passion for quality beer knows no bounds. This will be a brewery to be revered by beer geeks and everyday drinkers.
Our beers are physical manifestations of the passion we have for brewing and the love we have for our city. Our two flagship beers are a Red IPA and a Brown Ale. The Red IPA reflects the boldness of local Memphians tempered by a strong, malty backbone. The luscious, malty Brown Ale is reminiscent of the smooth, sweet music that was born on our streets.Once the brewery is constructed, these beers will be available on draft and in 12 oz cans.Get ready for Crosstown beer, Memphis!
Risks and challenges
Once our project has been funded, we will immediately move forward to get the items produced that you can hold and wear. The tee shirts, hats, and other tangible items will be distributed a short time after the campaign is complete. The rest of the items, though, depend upon the actual completion of the brewery and tap room. We expect this to happen sometime in the late fall of 2016. Many things could slow this down including construction delays for our own building, delays in the Crosstown Concourse project in general, and countless other unforeseen issues. We, however, know that our unbridled passion for beer will get us through these potentially trying times. At Crosstown Brewing Company, we know that our business isn’t just about ourselves. We know that our neighborhood, and ultimately our entire city will provide us with the support we need to accomplish all of our objectives.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
