Worlds Over Run Introducing a world no tabletop has seen before. Welcome to Strata! After leaving the worlds of THORN and SCORCH which are dark brooding places. STRATA gives a fresh and sublime world of wonders. The world or Strata floats high in the clouds, suspended and anchorless. Great causeways, promenades, and platforms that are yours to explore, but the larger mysteries of STRATA are still to be discovered.
In the world of STRATA, we start with medium and large platforms as your primary staging areas.
There are also large promenades for more open tabletop aesthetic. These expansive spaces have scenic views of the table top.
Stanchions catapult the platforms and promenades above the environments gaseous stratosphere.
Center columns, give platforms and added an element of support for the safety of your miniature.
Floating Rocks, no one is entirely sure where the floating rocks of STRATA came from. Possibly they are ruins from another city. However, they were harvested for the city and its purposes.
A world not yet over run, lost to time and uncorrupted.
GROVE is a lush and living world that is full of relics, mythical power, and fantasy beyond belief. What ancient culture built this structures? It’s also big, very big and the essence of this place is that of the green growing wilds. Will it prove to be a world of life or a taker of one? that is really up to you.
Trees! These aren't your average trees. Complexe structures and rich textures make an immersive addition to any tabletop. Overcoming the issues of making such a complex structure printable was a task equal to the legend of this world. There will be more trees than you can shake a stick at. Note; Not all of the twenty plus trees are displayed here.
Standing Stones make up the spaces between the grove of trees themselves. Ancient and timeless they are forever looming over the world of GROVE. All ground tiles are 200mm.
Risks and challenges
Since this is the third Kickstarter for WORLDS OVER RUN the risks are minimal.
The big challenge has been building all of the content and making it all printable. I've added a lot to my workload and there are areas of the work that have been difficult to get right for 3D printing. I hope I've managed to make everything work.
I've still got assets to complete for this Kickstarter but the process is already nailed down. Now I just have to grind out the rest of the listed assets.
