The prequel episode for Season 2 bridges the events of Season 1. More effects, more style, more Inspecting. Plus, someone DIES!
UPDATE! GOAL REACHED! Stretch goals announced, with rewards for EVERY backer!
THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who backed this project! Like most projects, we made our goal an amount that would get the job done, but we could also do more with additional funding. The BOOTH that we're building for the shoot will be good, but we'd also like to be able to build in some lighting and minor electronics. We can do that if we get to $12,500.
At $15,000, the option of renting better, 4K cameras becomes available to us. This not only increases the technical quality of the show, but also it's longevity. More importantly, it gives us the capability to do more visually, and in post-production.
So, since I can't give you guys enough stuff for your contributions, here are the REWARDS for helping us reach our STRETCH GOALS! (If you can think of other rewards we should offer, leave a comment!)
Stretch Goal #1: $12,500
- If we reach this goal, EVERY backer will receive a download of a ringtone featuring The Inspector, telling you to answer your phone, or face Universe-collapsing consequences!
- Also, every backer at $50 or more will get a personal phone call from Travis, thanking them for their support!
Stretch Goal #2: $15,000
- If we reach this goal, EVERY backer will also receive ringtones from Boyish the Extraordinary and Piper Tate!
- ALSO, every backer at $50 or more will receive a signed CAST PHOTO from the Prequel episode (this is in addition to the signed "Classic 11th" photo"
THIS WAS SEASON 1:
SEASON 2 of the series USA Today called "The Best TV on the Web of 2012" is on it's way! But before that, we want to give you a little taste of the new look and feel we're planning. So just like that other show, we're making a prequel episode! Except stuff actually happens in this! Like, SOMEONE DIES!!
**UPDATE ~ MEET THE NEW DIRECTOR!**
Nick is the director of such amazing projects as Battle For Hogwarts, Riddance, Friend Request, and the 50 Shades of Grey fan-film & trailer! His visual style combined with the comedy and complexities of Season 2 are going to result in an incredible next chapter in the chronicles of The Inspector!
THE STORY, and REWARDS!
The budget for this prequel episode will go towards building a BOOTH that we can use for future seasons, a CONSOLE for inside the BOOTH (both designed and built from scratch), renting equipment and locations, and minimal pay for cast and crew, all of whom donated their time on Season 1.
Here's a breakdown of the PERKS and which levels get them. At every dollar amount, you get EVERY perk ABOVE that amount!!

Having completed Season 1 of the series, we've shown what we can do with a budget. Season 1 was called one of the best TV shows on the web in 2012 by USA Today, and we received accolades from dozens of news sources.
Also fans have shown that they're willing to support quality comedy/sci-fi entertainment.
We've already got the script, most of the crew, and prop designers on hold waiting for the green light.
