Cawood Publishing is pleased to bring you a collection of Domenico Neziti's comics. Together we're making RPGenerations: Tabletop Knights, an RPG comic book. Dom's comics are always funny and he has great insight into the relationships at the table!
RPGenerations: Tabletop Knights will start as out as a 7" by 7" softcover book filled with 100 comics. As we unlock stretch goals, we'll add more and more to the book. We'd love to unlock the hardcover version!
Domenico Neziti is an Italian artist originally from Canada. He started a series of short funny comic strips dedicated to all those situations we've encountered during our tabletop sessions. Most of the comics are taken straight from his own personal experience as a player and Game Master. He's an Illustrator/Comic Artist and has been working professionally for 20 years. He has worked with many publishers like Dark Horse, Image, Soleil, Marvel, Glenat and has been working in the RPG industry for Green Ronin Publishing (and others) as an illustrator for the last 4 years. The two things that got him into drawing were comic books and roleplaying games. The wonderful artists that inspired him were Larry Elmore, Jeff Dee, Keith Parkinson, Brom, Tony DiTerlizzi, Frank Frazetta and Wayne Reynolds.
A 5E adventure is one of the rewards available for some backer levels. It will be about 40 pages long for character levels 4-6. The adventure will contain illustrations by Dom, maps, NPCs, and pregenerated characters. It will be based on elements from Dom's comics.
This 5E NPC booklet will contain several NPCs from Dom's comics. These characters will have detailed stat blocks and background information.
Other rewards include an RPGenerations notebook and an RPGenerations t-shirt. We'll open up a Backerkit page after the project is funded where you can add-on other rewards and 5E products from Cawood Publishing.
The story has begun! It's game night! Players are leaving their homes and heading to the Game Master's home. Join us, unlock the stretch goals, and see what happens next!
Risks and challenges
A number of challenges can arise in a project like this. We have part of our team in Canada and part in Italy. Art, the layout, graphic design, editing, and printing are expensive. Shipping around the world is also complicated. However, we've had three successful Kickstarters and we feel the budget and time frame are appropriate.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
