We believe that drones are good, and that it is important that the public and media understand the many wonderful things they are used for.
We founded International Drone Day to change the negative perceptions many people have about drones. 40,000 people in 50 countries joined together on March 14 2015 to show that drones are good, and it attracted large amounts of positive media attention worldwide, however the work to educate people can not not end here.
We are making "The Drone Invasion"; a documentary that will further challenge misconceptions about drones and will be a tool to educate by showing first hand the many positive ways in which drones impact the world.
People are the true stars of the film, as their stories make our vision a reality. Patrick Sherman of the Roswell Flight Test Crew, Sally "The Drone Girl" French, Jim Bowers of S.W.AR.M., Jeff Foster, and Las Vegas headliners and drone enthusiasts Anthony Cools and Lance Burton are just some of the people we will feature.
Production began earlier this year, using our own funds, and the goodwill of people willing to help - but we have more interviews to shoot and more stories to capture. With your help we will be able to do this and create an amazing film. A documentary about drones made for the people by the people.
Drones are good. With your help we can educate and create opportunities for us all.
Risks and challenges
Through the connections we have made through International Drone Day and That Drone Show we have connected with many people in the drone community that use drones in wondeful ways. It is is important to make this film and to show the world what drones do.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
