Formed in 2006, the Woodhouse is a group of long-time friends who came together to play shows in their home province of Nova Scotia each December after returning from Toronto's Humber College. Now in their 9th year of sold-out shows, they are releasing their much anticipated debut album "Home for Christmas." The album features incredible special guests including Canadian jazz legend Don Thompson on vibraphone, and Toronto multi-instrumentalist Mike Eckert on dobro.
Having worked timelessly over the last year, we have gone from rehearsing to pre-production, to arranging, to recording at Candle Studio (Toronto, ON) and Old Confidence Lodge (Riverport, NS), mixing with Nathan Carter Moore of NCM Sound, mastering with Reuben Ghose of Mojito Mastering, working on illustration and graphic design with Luke Norrad, and now manufacturing with Microforum for our debut album. This has been an exciting, yet long and expensive process to make the album. Now we need you fine folks to hop on board to help make the final stages of our album release a success!
Your Kickstarter contribution will help in making "Home for Christmas" a holiday classic. As we look forward to sharing our music with you this Holiday Season, we hope that you can share it with your loved ones near and far.
