July Production Update - Interviews and Digital Reward Roll-out
With June's design meetings concluded our next step is to line-up interviews, which broadly means hours of chat, followed by days of transcription, followed by weeks of writing!
This means conversations with Oddworld to ascertain when interviewees are able to take a break from a certain high-profile game they have in the works so that they can talk to us. ;)
We're looking at getting a few hours of Lorne Lanning's time in the first instance, and taking it from there with other members of the original design, art teams and more.
Digital Reward Distribution
Alongside interviews, we're going to start distributing digital game codes, with the high-res wallpaper and art packs to follow.
To do this, Oddworld will provide us with codes for each game relevant to the required PC platform (Steam or GOG, as outlined in your surveys).
These will be sent out in waves to those who have finalised their choices by completing their CrowdOx survey. This will begin soon and continue periodically to catch those final surveys as they trickle in.
Around 13% of backers are yet to complete their survey.
Anyone who has not completed their survey once the first wave goes out will not miss out, of course, they'll simply have to wait until the next wave of codes is released.
If you'd like to request your survey email again you can do so by following this link: https://app.crowdox.com/retrieve/1869209521/oddworld-abes-origins-book-and-game-collection
You'll be able to continue to make changes, including updating your shipping address and adding extras, after you have completed your surveys.
We'll post a brief, mid-month update once the codes have been sent and be back again at the end of next month with more on our progress and what we're working on.
Until next month, folks!
