One week to go (and a few new rewards...)
It's been a busy month of April. We're one week away from the end of our Kickstarter campaign and we are over 80% of the way to our goal. That's amazing! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for getting us this far.
As Kris Lamb likes to remind us, though, the last 20% can take 80% of the work. And we could use all of your help to get us over the finish line. Keeping that in mind, we have a few thoughts to take us through the weekend...
1. We added some new rewards to the campaign! So if you've already backed us for CD or the signature package, take a look and consider adding a signed poster or one of a very limited number of official Ezekiel's Wheels Klezmer Band t-shirts to your order.
2. Sharing is caring. Every time one of our friends or fans shares the Kickstarter project, we get about $10 in new backing. That means that if each of you shares just once more, we'll be at our goal!
3. We spent today shooting the first in what we hope to be a series of music videos for the new album with Daniel Byers of Skyship Films, Danielle Myers of Danielle Myers Media, and recording engineer Ariel Bernstein. The video element adds so much to the overall presentation of our music, so we're working hard to reach our stretch goal and add much more video soon. (And we may just invite our Kickstarter backers to a dance party complete with klezmer music, camera operators, and flying drones for an upcoming video. Stay tuned!)
If you're getting this message, you've already done so much to bring the album to fruition. We can't say it enough: thank you. Thank you. Thank you! With just a little more help, we'll close out this campaign together and spend Shabbat next week celebrating the fact that this. album. is. getting. made.
