New Add-Ons + Limited-Edition Dice
An Aquelarre-Esque Weekend
Halloween! Day of the Dead! All Saints’ Day!
This sounds like a perfect Aquelarre weekend, so we believe there should be a way to celebrate Aquelarre-style. Here’s what’s happening this weekend: we’re offering new dice, cards and coins with Aquelarre themes!
First, I am changing the stretch goals to unlock the Aquelarre-dice now! Above is a picture of the Nosolorol die that was linked by backer Lorenz. The pair of d10’s we’re offering will also have the Aquelarre goat-head replacing the “10” and they’ll be in these colors: lustrous shadow with gold and Gemini purple-red with gold. Here what these look like:
I’m adding one special d10 for each of the three days this weekend, and these dice will only be available through this Monday. The pictures here are for color reference only. Your die will be a d10 with the "10" replaced by the Aquelarre goat-head as in the example above.
For Halloween, there's the bright vortex orange with black:
For the Day of the Dead, this hellfire-colored vortex burgundy with gold:
And for All Saints’ Day, this angelic-themed borealis sky blue with white:
Again, these three dice are only available this weekend and you must pledge for a physical copy of Aquelarre. I’ve created two new pledge levels that I will close at the end of Monday. Only backers at these two levels can get these limited-edition dice as add-ons. To add these limited-edition dice, please change to BLESSED DISCIPLE or BLESSED MASTER from the “unblessed” version of the same.
AQUELARRE ART CARDS
We’re offering three new 4-card sets also themed for each of the days this weekend. All of the art is selected from Aquelarre itself. Monsters for Halloween, demons for Day of the Dead and Angels for All Saints’ Day. These cards are playing card size and they are brilliant on their own for display, or as bookmarks or gifts. They could serve a game purpose in Deck100, whether the original deck or the special Deck100 Aquelarre we’re creating as a pledge reward. Below is mock-up of one card from each pack. We’ve not settled for certain on the four illustrations we’ll use in each pack, but these examples give you a taste of what we have in mind. The backs of the art cards will feature the front cover of Aquelarre.
We’re very excited to announce a silver coin as a new add-on for the project. This Aquelarre-themed, Spanish-styled coin will have a demon head on one side and an angel on the other. These images are raised elements on the face of the coin. Our graphics maestro Aileen Miles quickly created this mock-up:
We’ll work the styling to make it more medieval Spanish, add some text, and deliver an outstanding coin that will be minted by Campaign Coins of Australia who ran their own very successful project this past May.
The silver coin we’re offering is HUGE… 39mm diameter, which is the size of a poker chip. Such a coin is expensive to produce in a small quantity, but we can offer additional coins at a reduced price.
NEW ADD-ON PRICING
Here’s a pricing schedule for the new add-ons. Please remember that you will only be able to add-on the three limited-edition Aquelarre dice if you pledge at the BLESSED DISCIPLE or BLESSED MASTER level. (I may… may!… allow latecomers a one-day opportunity to add these dice later in the project, but don’t depend on that!) In all cases, shipping is included for these add-ons. There will be no additional shipping due to the inclusion of these items. As such, these add-ons are only available if you back this project for a physical reward.
