Indy's newest craft beer adventure. Come along, check us out...you might like what you see and "taste." It's going to be a fun ride!

Another brewery?!

Actually, just over 100 years ago there were 3,000+ breweries in the U.S.  That obviously came to a screeching halt when prohibition finally hit.  After its repeal, the number climbed pretty fast reaching almost 500 breweries in the 1940's.  Mass advertising did a number on them as well, shrinking it back down to about 40 in the 70's.

Don't worry, we know you didn't stumble upon our page for a history lesson.  But, we are guessing that you are here because you are curious to know more about TwoDeep Brewing Co. and what this whole thing is about!

What we are doingWe love brewing.  It is honestly that simple.  Because we love brewing so much, we wanted to be able to share our passion and our liquid libations with everyone out there.  Obviously the common thought of any normal, level-headed person would be, "Yeah, why not just start a brewery!"  Ok, maybe not, but our path was clear and we have set out on this wild adventure of starting our brewery and now sharing that dream with you.

Indiana (Indianapolis) was once a thriving craft beer community - long before we were ever born.  We want to help put Indy back on the craft beer map while making the best beer possible.  But in order to get there, we need your help.  We invite you to become a part of this journey and in a sense, make TwoDeep Brewing Co. a brewery that was started by you, the craft beer drinkers!

FYI - the origin of the name is down below in the "bio" section

What the brewery will be

You figure an apple is an apple and an orange is an orange.  Not much more can be said about that.  But what if you took an apple and fused it with an orange!?!?  Ok, you probably would have a sticky mess on your hands but we hope you are getting the idea.

TwoDeep Brewing Co. will not only be a production brewery serving the Indianapolis area with expansion (hopefully, quick expansion) into the outlying areas in the form of stores, restaurants, bars, etc., but also a destination for craft beer enthusiasts of all levels.  Whether you are just getting your feet wet with craft beer or have been pumping out batch after batch at home, the TapRoom at TwoDeep is your destination for all things craft beer.  Come in and enjoy some of the freshest beer around in a relaxing, laid-back atmosphere.

We originated from homebrewing and want to make sure that our ideals and our close connection to the beer never gets lost, no matter how big the system may be.  We will stay true to our roots and continue to make beer that is never compromised.

Our mission is to provide you with the freshest, best tasting beer possible (ours and guest beers) while creating an atmosphere for friends to gather and reminisce on good times while creating new memories.  Stop in with your friends from work for a pint or two, get some growlers or six packs to go for the game (go Colts!), heck, come help clean out some tanks if you want!  Indianapolis is our home town and we want to help continue making it one of the greatest cities in the world!

Over the first few years, TwoDeep will be expanding its operations to include a Brew On Premise or BOP as known by some.  "What the heck is a BOP?"...great quesiton!  This is the chance for anyone from any walk of life to try their hand at brewing.  We provide the ingredients and tools and you come and brew your very own 12 gallon batch!!!  Whether you are looking for a date night activity, or are in need of a team building or party event idea, a Brew On Premise IN a working brewery is a homerun!  Like we said, we love brewing and want to share it with everyone - this is just another way for us to do so.  We will be revealing more details as things progress.

So now what?

It's simple.  Do the following and you are on your way to being a valued "backer" and closer to enjoying some frothy libations.

-Start a Kickstarter account.  It's easy, all you need is an email and password.
-Sign-in to Amazon.com...already have an account..? SWEET, no more is needed.
-Support us by pledging $1 or more via the list on the right and you're done.  If we don't hit our goal, nobody is out anything...except the brewery and BEER.

Important - If we don't hit our pledged goal by our due date, our backers don't get their rewards and we don't get the funds...sooo, share this with everyone!  We can always raise more but nothing happens unless we meet our goal.

What the money does

We set a goal that we feel is obtainable.  We didn't want to set something out of reach only to fail our backers and not be able to deliver the great stuff listed.  Hopefully we will blow by our goal and hit 30 or 40k!!  If we blow away our goal, we will have some additional incentives for everyone to enjoy...so go spread the message!

$5,000 - License and permitting

$10,000 - Fermentation Tanks

$3,500 - Pumps

Beers on the roster

19 Days - A Maibock that will leave you wanting another and another and another.  This has been a crowd favorite for over a year and has been known to spark a few German beer sing alongs.

Brickhouse - Another crowd favorite.  This is a not too sweet, not too roasty, not too hoppy, just right American Amber Ale.  Usually a toss up between this and 19 Days as a crowd favorite.

Fun with Pils - While we realize the TTB might not approve of this name, we are running with it for now.  This is our meshing of two similar styles...a Dortmunder Export and Munich Helles.  You like German Lagers?  We do!  A unique variation to a favored style.

Kunkelweizen - Mmmm, another salute to our German forefathers of brewing.  For the wheat beer lovers, this will be right up your alley.  This is a favorite of Uncle Ry-Ry

Cream Ale - Yeah, we know the name needs work!  Feel free to help us out.  This has been the entry level favorite for both long time craft beer lovers and newbies.  A refreshing, easy drinking beer that won't knock you over.  See, you can have your cake and eat it too!

Jolly Old Stout - A Milk (or Sweet) Stout that lives up to its name.  Feeling Jolly is for sure and giving beer drinkers something not overpowering from roasted malts, has provided  quite the following.

The Bottom of the glass

We can't express enough how excited we are to be finally following our dream and being able to share that dream with you.  We are not just building the brewery for us, we are building it for the people of Indianapolis and the many who come to visit.  Help us on this journey and I promise you will enjoy the ride.

Sincere and heartfelt thanks...
Cheers-

Andy, Michele & Chris
