Worlds in Peril

Hi everyone! It's been awhile since the kickstarter campaign for Magicians wrapped up, and while development for Magicians continues for other languages continues (I've even started working on a Korean version to teach English as well!), many of you awesome backers told me that they liked Magicians and their kickstarter experience with it that they'd love to see me do another book even - and I ended up doing just that!

Since I co-designed it with two other friends here in Korea we made a new profile to launch this new project under. It's a Superhero RPG called Worlds in Peril and it's everything I ever wanted in one! If you're interested in it at all or have any questions please feel free to ask here or on the new page. I know there are already a few backers already jumping in on it despite it only having launched about 8 hours ago! I can't wait to do another kickstarter and make another awesome book with any and all of you who are interested in going on another awesome ride with me.

Thanks again, everyone. I'm super excited about this and I wouldn't be doing it at all without your support!

Hacking Magicians and Motobushido Cards

Hi everyone, just yesterday Pete Figtree, of the Ruthless Diastema podcast, had me on the show to talk specifically about hacking Magicians so I thought you might be interested! We cover everything from setting, tone, language. If you want to see the document we reference, it's in a previous update or you can download it here, for the pdf, or here, for the cbr file. Check it out here:

Also, Nathanael Cole is running another kickstarter for Motobushido cards. If you recall, we ran a cross-promo together in which you got some goodies over there and a pack of 10 cards over here as well in the game, which should be coming in soon when artwork for cards wraps up. If you backed Motobushido, some cards might be your thing so check it out.

Golden Sky Stories and Shipping Update

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that everything has been shipped out as of 2 weeks today so start checking the mailbox as it could be anytime! The post office tells me it's usually 2-6 weeks so be on the look out! Another thing I thought that was cool and thought I'd share was how many backers from other countries pledged! It's a really cool, long list! A very diverse group (though this is my first kickstarter so I wouldn't really know).

Check it out! In no particular order, and just as it occurred to me to write it down while packaging (so I'm probably even missing a few):

U.S.A, CANADA, UNITED KINGDOM, AUSTRALIA, GERMANY, FRANCE, SOUTH KOREA , JAPAN, HONG KONG, ICELAND, SOUTH AFRICA, CHINA, ITALY, BELGIUM, NEW ZEALAND, INDIA, NEW CALEDONIA, SPAIN, BULGARIA, PARAGUAY, URUGUAY, PORTUGAL, BRUNEI, AUSTRIA, MALAYSIA, THAILAND, NETHERLANDS, FINLAND, NORWAY, POLAND, CZECH REPUBLIC, CHILE, PUERTO RICO, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES .

I also wanted to let you guys know about another kickstarter that's going on for Golden Sky Stories:

Golden Sky Stories is a heartwarming, non-violent role-playing game from Japan, by Ryo Kamiya, the creator of Maid: The Role-Playing Game. In this game, players take on the role of henge, animals that have just a little bit of magical power, including the ability to temporarily take on human form. You can be a fox, raccoon dog, cat, dog, rabbit, or bird, and each kind has their own special magical powers. Players will then attempt to solve problems around a small enchanted town with ingenuity, co-operation and friendship

I'm also doing a long-since-unlocked stretch goal for it to add Korean household gods to the game as playable characters. It's only got about 16 hours left to go so go check it out quick if you're interested!
