Help support the Chicago Premiere of Patrick Marber's raw and timely retelling of Strindberg's classic naturalist tragedy.
by award winning playwright Patrick Marber. Our inaugural production, helmed by Artistic Director Melissa Albertario, will feature Mary-Kate Arnold, Robert Tobin, and company member Morgan Manasa.
The funds from this campaign will go towards multiple production aspects:
- The cost of a performance space
- Monetary appreciation for our cast.
- Marketing materials (postcards, posters, etc.)
By deciding to do this show we feel so passionately about, we've created a challenging situation. Many new theatre companies take an easier route by either doing a show within the public domain or an original work. However, by choosing to do work that is currently under copyright we have decided to take on a greater financial burden, which demonstrates our dedication to the quality of art we want to produce.
With your help, we can produce this important, timely show regarding the issues of hope change and class distinction, without compromising our vision. Thank you.
