"Native Sun," is a short-film, set in Ghana, that follows an imaginative young boy as he searches for his father. The movie, written and co-directed by Blitz the Ambassador, features music from his upcoming album of the same title. We completed filming over two week in November, but we are now seeking funds to finish color correction, editing, and sound design.
It was important for us to create a visual representation of Africa, that is different from the average perspective of poverty and despair. We tried to capture the beauty, conflicts, and contradictions, of Ghana through the whimsical eyes of a young boy.
"Native Sun," the short-film, is the visual accompaniment to Blitz the Ambassador's second album, which will be released on May 3. If you like what you see, please contribute, and help us show a new vision of Africa.
