This film features aliens, godzilla-sized astronauts, a space council, a giant floating head, a cosmic camera crew, nazis, cannibalism and vampires all wrapped inside of an art-house drama between an art teacher, her missing sister and her mysterious new roommate.
Created from Director Joe Badon's love for weird cinema, this film has influences that range from The Monkees' Head (1968) and Robert Altman's 3 Women (1977) to Quentin Dupieux's Reality (2014) and Sion Sono's Why Don't You Play in Hell (2013).
This full length feature film has elements of 60's B-movies, 70's Art House, 80's Body Horror!
IN OTHER WORDS:
IF YOU LIKE YOUR MOVIES TO BE BATSH*T CRAZY THEN THIS IS THE MOVIE FOR YOU!
Here's some preliminary Concept Art for the film:
HERE'S WHERE THE MONEY IS GOING...
HOW CAN WE MAKE SUCH A BIG FILM ON SUCH A LOW BUDGET???
Well, Director Joe Badon and Producers' Daniel Waghorne and Joseph Estrade recently teamed up and created a micro-budget full length weird fest entitled "The God Inside My Ear"!
We created a BIG movie on a flimsy budget of a little UNDER $10k!
Check out the trailer and poster for The God Inside My Ear (it's being released world wide through Gravitas Ventures in April!)
We did that for under $10k!
NOT ONLY THAT but we also won Best Feature Film, Best Director and Best Actress at multiple film fests and played at OVER 30 film fests AROUND THE WORLD!!
Now... imagine what we can do with a slightly bigger budget!
CREW AND CAST
Risks and challenges
We have a cast and crew ready and willing to work in whatever conditions so long as this dream becomes a reality BUT the more funding, the better and easier it will be to make this film!
If we don't get a lot of money, then we'll barter and trade for as many resources as we can to complete this project with professionalism and quality!
As with our last film, The God Inside My Ear, we have proved that we can do A WHOLE LOT with very little!
So we are more than confident that whatever challenges we face, we WILL see this through to completion!
