Many thanks to all of you who supported Slashear. Together we will make awesome game. To say thanks to each of you, we drew a custom personalized bunny just for each of you. You may find them by visiting that link: http://www.slashear.com/bunny-backers.html
An exciting action game, about the adventures and battles of a little boy against unbelievably dangerous and evil rabbits.
Bunnies, bunnies, bunnies, bunnies, bunnies, bunnies, bunnies... Bunnies everywhere! They are the root of all evil in the world! Sly and wicked there is no escape from them and only one person on the entire planet dared to begin an unequal fight. A little boy disguised as a wolf faces crowds of crazy bunnies. They are armed with sharp teeth, guns and weapons whereas the boy fights with a baseball bat but he knows how to use it!
Gameplay is based on parodies of popular movies (we don’t steal anybody’s ideas), the actors are the bunnies in various guises. Among all the creatures they proved to be the best at the art of deception and disguise:) However somebody really doesn’t like them! The little boy in a wolf costume has decided to cut the population of the long-eared evil creatures...
The main distinction from all the existing appstore games is numerous animations. Every character has at least 5 animations whereas the main hero has more than 25! Different visual effects, explosions, colorful background, bizarre characters and off-beat stories create a real cartoon-like atmosphere.
User-friendly swipe game control. There are no buttons on the screen, it is a fully “tap and swipe” game which allows to deeply sink into the game without any distraction. At first glance it may seem unusual but as soon as you start playing you realize that there is no better control, everything is logical, instinctive and user-friendly. There is also a platform for those who are used to keyboards, just use arrows and shift instead of swipes.
This is NOT a classic platformer! The character can freely move in all 3d dimensions and interact with different objects: push, pull, pick up and jump on. It uses a full 3D engine of the physical world.
The game levels are all different and colorful. Every level has its own storyline with different surroundings and enemies. We promise you will not get bored!
It’s a little boy’s adventure through colorful worlds with an only goal to find out what happened to this crazy world... The first zombi level is almost ready and we have thought over the ideas for four more. All five levels will form the first release.
During the game process you will have to fight crowds of enemies, tiny and huge monsters armed with numerous weapons. But this is not all! To defeat a monster you will also have to slow down and focus on some logical puzzles, figure out trap mechanisms built by wicked opponents or create your own to lure into a trap a vicious monster-bunny!
The game uses AI to adjust to a player’s level to keep you up and running. However the debugging hasn’t been finished yet.
Our story or why Kickstarter
The game started off as a hobby of two game developers. The idea came to us about 2 years ago and as it developed and grew we decided to implement it in our free time.
The first version was done as a flash. However we gave up that idea as it didn’t satisfy our needs and didn’t allow us to implement all our ideas. It has been a year now and we drastically lack time to keep up with the quickly developing project. We need more resources and time to focus on the game which has been in our mind and to which we have dedicated so much time and effort (thanks to our family and friends for understanding and support!). This is why we came to ask for help to the world gamers’ society. We need your support and hope you will truly love our game project. With the raised funds we are planning to hire another software engineer and a designer to pay for the game music, advertising campaign and office where we will create the game and put into life all our ideas. Financing is a crucial component but your thoughts and ideas are even more important for us. We would like to hear your reviews and possibly implement some of your ideas. We are open to any discussion and will be happy to hear your suggestions.Last but not least we are looking for like-minded fellows! As previously said the game will have numerous totally different game levels. So if you are full of creative ideas hurry up and join us to add your own unique level to the game!
To show our gratitude and respect to those who helped us we will create a special game level which will include the names of all backers. The size and appearance of the caption will change depending on the contribution amount.

If we hit the second target we will create cool bunny figures and send them to all backers starting at $50 (Includes shipment). Vinyl bunnies of the best quality!
The main difficulty in development of any application or game is to deliver in deadline. To solve that we made a complete plan with lots of details and we also took time with a backup for sure. Moreover our friends developers and designers are ready to help us if something will go wrong.
We are sure in our knowledge and we have a lot of experience to complete the project. But in such big projects no one can foresee everything and it always possible that something go not like was planned. Fortunately we have a lot of experience to foresee tons of bottlenecks and to check them before moving forward. We called it “proof of concept” in development. And we also have working prototype where we solved lots of optimization and gameplay tasks.
The third possible issue can be lack of finances. But we have very detailed plan with what we have to complete to publish the game and as for backup we can discurd some simple feature or one paid level and release it later.
As for rewards we have an agreements already with few companies and they are waiting only for our green light to make rewards and to send them to the backers.
Another potential risk is in intellectual property issues. However, we avoid any references to any copyrighted work. Further, if necessary, we can always tweak the color scheme of a character or area and that will avoid terms.
All those risks can be foreseen, but if somewhere will happen zombie-apocalypse only in that case we probably will postpone development, take our slashbits and slash few ears.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter

Well, such effect slightly smoothes our monstrous English pronunciation :)
