Film is back! There's no sense hiding it and we're dedicated to helping those who still love this beautiful medium get the best out of their work. Shooting film is definitely a different beast to digital and it has it's own challenges. You should be focused on your creative vision not getting bogged down by processing. We are committed to delivering a fast, professional service for film shooters.
We love film and want to see it thrive again and that's exactly what it's doing! Against all odds and with those saying that "film is dead", this beautiful way of catching light is making a strong come-back. With companies like Impossible Project bringing back Polaroid and Kodak releasing new versions of their films, including a plan to release Ektachrome in 2018, film looks to be here to stay!
Working with a lab you can trust is invaluable and the results speak for them selves. If your looking for a quality Film Processing Service you can depend on? Well, look no further. We're Emulsion Film Lab, available where you need us when you need us.
Our goal is clear. To keep the film medium going strong, give strength to the market and give film photographers a solid ground to work on.

Risks and challenges
Every venture no matter the size has risks. Without risk, there is no opportunity.
Our risks are fairly straight forward. We require a healthy interest in backing and business to make this venture financially viable. That's where you come in! If we get over whelming support from our local film community, we can go the distance. So share with as many people as you can.
The gear. As we have mentioned we want the best for your film processing. That means getting a new automated processing machine, the Filmomat. This machine must however come out of Europe and because it is the first of it's kind outside of Europe we do foresee there may be delay in customs for such a high value item. But never fear, we have taken that into account with our delivery time and financing goal.
Stock Supply. Yes in order to get the best possible prices for the film community we are having to import our stock from over seas. This makes it tricky to gauge demand as we are also dealing with an expire-able product. We will get a better feel for stock levels once we complete this campaign.
Over flow. There is every chance that this lab go take off greater than we can anticipate. We want to keep processing turn around and service as fast as possible, therefore if this happens we will need to expand by hiring more lab techs and possibly a second machine in the future to deal with the work load.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
