DragonWing Fashions Chainmaille Menagerie
Our project is to raise funds to improve on our display for when we are vending at craft/trade shows. Our display, currently, is a good one, however we would like to make it a great display. We want to make it as easy as possible for patrons of our booths to see and find exciting treasures that they would like to add to their collections.
The Materials: We will be using Aluminum Scales for the Earring sets. In the Bracelets and Dice Bags (works well as a chain-ge bag too) we will be using aluminum for the color and black EPDM rubber rings (latex free for those with allergies). The Coif in the last Tier will be made with 12 gauge Bright Aluminum rings. If you have metal allergies and are wondering if this will be okay for you it may be. Most metal allergies are to the nickel content in most metals. Lucky for us, aluminum has no nickel.
Colors: The colors we will use are as follows, Black, Silver, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple. The rubber rings will be black.
The earrings are made from aluminum and punched out in a dragonscale design. We overlay a small scale on a large scale which produces a nice contrast. You will be able to choose your color combination.
The bracelets will be made in the half Persian 3 in 1 pattern and will be 7.5 inches in length and stretch over the hand easy. If you are needing a larger or smaller size for your wrist please let us know so that we can make adjustments.
And now for the Dice Bags.
And some actions pictures of the bags.
The Chainmaille Coif will be made using 12 gauge Aluminum. We will want to get the circumference of your head so that it can be made to fit. The length will be set to reach the shoulders.
How better to look medieval than with your own personal chainmaille coif.
Timeline: If we only get pledges to fulfill our goal then meeting the targets in the pledge tiers will be achievable for Tim and I. I have set up limits on all the pledge levels so that if we meet those targets we will know that we need to add another pledge level which will have a different completion date. This will allow us to be more upfront with delivery expectations.

Risks and challenges
The number one risk will be availability of the materials we will need to fulfill the pledge rewards. Our supplier is amazing at having stock ready, however we all know that eventually stock runs low and they will need to make more. There are very few times that they are without stock for more than a week or two. If this were to happen we ensure you that we would make every effort to inform anyone who would be impacted.
Second risk would be if we were to be so popular that we over extend ourselves with demand. (this would be an awesome challenge) This could make meeting targets a little more difficult. We would then have to create a month by month timeline to ensure everyone gets what they pledged for in a timely manner.
Third risk would be the "What if we got hit by a bus, scenario" if Tim and I both hurt ourselves at the same time and couldn't make chainmaille. This would slow down the process of completing the fulfillment. We do have other maillers who would jump on board if such a tragedy were to happen so I do not see this being an issue.
As with shipping anything there is always the risk of it getting lost or taking longer to arrive than expected. We will do all that we can to ensure timely delivery. If there are issues with the delivery method then we will source alternate options. Getting your rewards to you will be our highest priority.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
