After working with Grammy Award winning producer Stephen Short on their last two EP's, Ian & The Dream was stricken when Short was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.
Using what they'd learned from Short over the years, Ian set his ambitions high: self-produce a full length album of original material at his home studio that is as good or better than the band's previous efforts.
The result, "California Cauliflower" was the fruits of almost a year of hard work (or the vege-tables if you prefer).
While the band saved thousands of dollars with Ian producing and not having the need to go into the studio, they still have many expenses forthcoming in order to fully realize the album.
Expenses such as mastering, packaging, marketing, promoting, and creating an awareness for the album is where the band will spend all of your generously donated money.
Thank you for being a part of our "Dream."
Risks and challenges
We'll do our very best to make sure that everyone who is part of the project is happy with the pledge and that the entire process lives up to their expectations.
Just bear with us as we get the record digitally sent out and the physical cd's and/or albums mailed out. We'll work together with you to schedule any performances so they work with both of our schedules.
Many of you know Ian, Chivo & Brian and we're all confident that we'll all be happy in the end.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
