Shoot Date Obtained

We're finally here in the last hours of the campaign, and we're again inches away from our final goal!  Thank you to all the backers, new and old, and to those of you that have raised your pledge level.

Just today we received a great piece of news from the last piece of the puzzle, Irish Lights.  This is the organization that runs the lighthouses around Ireland and on the Skelligs.  Today, we were given permission to stay in the lighthouse on the Skellig, and given a start date of June 25th!

It is very nice to have a solid date written down for our trip, and we're looking forward to the logistical stage to come: planning, packing, making checklists and all the exciting pre-shoot hullabaloo.  The permission also means that we'll have a good, solid base of operations to use while we're on the island.

Eoghan had said that he wouldn't post any other pictures from our scouting trip, but we both found this one too good not to share:

We really can't say enough how grateful we are for your continued support, and for getting us this far.  We have one more little bit to push towards so that we can make it to the gallery showing in Dublin, so now is the time to share this project with anyone and everyone.

Thank you so much.

Thanks Noelle, looks like we're there (fingers crossed no one drops out last minute). We plan to keep updating as the project goes forward too. This has been a great experience already and we've barely even dipped our toes in the water!

I am so, so pleased for you both - I have been watching the progress of the pledges with baited breath and it looks like you will reach your ultimate goal! I am so happy to be part of this fantastic project and looking forward to seeing it all in motion.
