Hello everybody,

I have sent various updates to smaller groups, but I realize that there hasn't been a public update in forever, so let's remedy that. If you're in a hurry, just click here or check out the announcement at the bottom, but let's start with a recap:

First of all - a big big thank you to everybody who contributed. Your support means everything to us. We're very happy with how Dreams My Master turned out, and we had a great run through the festival circuit.

The best moment was undoubtedly when our good Rico E. Anderson won the Best Actor award at the Pasadena International Film Festival... on his birthday, and the entire audience sang him happy birthday as he received his award.

There have been other great moments - we even made it to a festival in Gary, Indiana, birthplace of both Michael Jackson and our Charles Windle Greer IV.

There was the Burbank International Film Festival, here with Issac Ryan Brown, who's now one of the leads in Raven's Home (and Anthony Anderson's younger self in Black-ish):

There was also the Long Beach Indie, where we were nominated for an "award of merit for positive and balanced depictions of African American men". Yes, that's a thing.

There was also a great interview with the two of them.

There were just some of the highlights. We're not ruling out trying a few others, but we're mostly done with festivals at this point.

Important: If anyone hasn't gotten their reward yet, please hit me up - you should have received it a long, long time ago.

Also, we have a new project coming up, and this time it's a web series! We will still go through the festival circuit with the pilot, but we can turn this into a lot more if we get enough support. Instead of just one film, we'll be able to create more and more over time. It's the gift that keeps on giving! The pilot is done - please come on over to pushingskills.com to get more details.

Thank you all,

-Mike
