The first issue of LiD made it to print with massive support from Photographers and contributors alike. Without these guys it would never have happened. It was entirely self funded by myself, Sam Buckle.
Since then, unfortunately, the long running Threesixty Magazine has ceased to be. So this leaves the UK and Irish bodyboard scene without a printed magazine.
This is where you lot come in, from the Bodyboarders to the Shops and Board importers, here is where you all need to step up and help make LiD issue No.2 a reality! If you really want an "in print" bodyboard magazine (and from what i hear, people really do!) then please pledge what you can and get LiD issue No.2 to the printers.
Risks and challenges
As with all print projects delays can happen, like an entire print run lost in transit, yes this happened last time! And many other reasons. One thing that wont be a problem is a lack of good content, after the recent run of giant swell there is a glut of good photos.
As you can see i put my own money and time into producing LiD issue 1 purely out of love for the sport, that coupled with many years working in the media industry sees me in a good position to overcome any hurdles or pitfalls this project may reveal.
