Our independent Documentary film takes a deeper look at the losses on a February day 10 years ago. We lost more than a Space Shuttle and seven lives. On that day a symbol representative of a whole society was lost dating back to the earliest days of modern man.
Our Documentary will explore the human meaning related to this little known loss and why it is so important for people to know about it. Our film will work closely and conduct interviews with NASA, Local officials, and potentially the U.S. Air Force.
On February first 2003,
The Space Shuttle Columbia was lost with all hands. Although Columbia now lies in pieces, its mission is not over.
Few know of another chapter to the life and loss of this Space Shuttle.
On board was Ilan Ramon, A colonel in the Israeli Air Force and the first Israeli astronaut.
Ilan was the son of Holocaust survivors.
Going in to space was a Special thing and Ilan wanted to take something special with him.
He borrowed from a friend a little torah that was in and also survived the Concentration camps.
The last video of this Torah was seen in space floating in Ilan’s hand.
Even though 40% of Columbia was recovered the little Torah is still missing today.
Packed away in a crew locker, the possibility that the little Torah survived is high.
Your donation will help us film an expedition to search for the little lost Torah.
If found we will celebrate and try to get the little Torah back home to its empty Ark waiting in Israel.
Successful in this mission or not, our journey will be made in to a Documentary film.
Any donations over our goal will help to spread the word of this brave little lost Torah.
