We are three traditional musicians from Limerick, Ireland. Our sound is rooted in traditional Irish music and song but is deeply influenced by the folk musics of other countries, such as Finland and Sweden where we have both studied and performed. The ethos of the band is to create a musical landscape that brings an array of colors and shades to the tradition through experimental arrangements and original melodies. Since forming in 2016 we have graced the stages of festivals such as Electric Picnic, Other Voices and folk festivals in Ireland and abroad.
The funds raised through this campaign will cover the costs of professional recording, mixing and mastering as well as the artwork for and printing of our debut EPs.
We will be recording with Jack Talty of Raelach Records, renowned musician and sound engineer from Co.Clare and our mixing will be done by Sean Óg Graham in Big Banana Studios in Belfast. Both Jack and Sean are traditional musicians with years of experience in performing, recording and experimenting so we are honored and excited that they are a part of this project.

Risks and challenges
The only risk that we might face in this project is not reaching the release date on time and the reason for this is that perfection takes time. We have put years into preparing for this project so we want it to be something special for our funders. Releasing something we would not be happy with is not an option for us. But, no matter what happens, the album will be released and we will try to make that as close to our predicted release date as possible.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
