Shipping Plans

Hello all,

The end is almost here, Thank you all for all your support in this wonderful adventure we have started. 50K and rising! Wow! Thank you for your help!

Allot of backers are asking if their Bandit Gun will arrive by Christmas and I wanted to share with you our plans to meet this in every effort we can, but again I need your help with the following.

I will be sending you a survey as soon as the campaign is over with several questions like your correct shipping address, email address, and other questions to help me with future Bandit Gun models. I believe I will not be able to ship your Bandit Gun(s) until I receive your survey back. So PLEASE send this back to me as soon as possible. Maybe the same day or early the next morning.

For all US backers and close by countries. All the Bandit Guns are cut-out, the rubber bands are packed, directions are printed, and the bolts should arrive tomorrow via UPS. So I have gathered all of my friends and family on Saturday to create an assembly line to package all the Bandit Gun kits into a poly bag and package carefully into a box with your shipping info and ready for the post office to pickup on Saturday afternoon and Monday morning. I also talked again with the business solutions executive from the United States Postal Service today and he reassured me again that if he could pickup all the packages (being sent Parcel Post) by Monday morning they will arrive to you by Christmas. I think this probably is a record from the end of the campaign to shipping to you in only a few days on Kickstarter. But again I need your help by sending me your survey back with all the important information. If I don't receive your info it will be impossible for me to make your Christmas deadline. Thank you in advance for all your help to make this process quick, accurate, and efficient.

For all overseas international orders, the post office is unsure on how long it will take to arrive to you, due to international customs and your individual mailing systems.

As always I am truly grateful for you "The backer" and your trust in our team here at Bandit Guns. I can't say it enough times...... Thank you for all your support!

Thank you all,

Bob Coulston

Hi Bob, I got the shotgun on the 27th, missed Christmas by one business day. Thanks for checking for me, my bro will get to put it together tomorrow. Good luck!

I was a little sceptic that the postal system would be able to deliver this thing in time to Canada, but truly amazingly, I received mine on the eve of the 24th, and I absolutely love it! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to wage territory war against my roommates and their fancy 7-round Nerf guns ;)...

      Hello Mark,

I checked your order at and it says that it was at shipped on Dec. 14th. Being an international order it doesn't give a tracking number. I am so sorry you didn't get it in time. Please advise when you do receive it please.

I didn't receive the shotgun in time for Christmas. (insert frown here). My brother will have to make do with a print out of the kickstarter web page till it arrives. I'm really looking forward to it and hope to have it soon!

Protium - Thanks for the suggestion, I try to listen to everyone. So far it is about 66% before X-mas and the remainder is after. Again thanks for the suggestion and your support!

Mark - It will be close, I mailed out 454 orders yesterday and hope to do the same today. I am sorry if it doesn't make it in time for Christmas. I am trying everything I can do to help. Thanks again for your support!

      Hi Bob,

Is the UK a nearby country?

    12. Protium on December 8, 2012

Bob, I can't believe you followed my suggestion. That is so cool. I just got done answering the survey. I got the idea from what the creator of another project I backed did. I'd be interested to know how many backers said they did not need them by Christmas.

Thanks for the heads up about the Post office. I will then try to get allot out tomorrow. Thanks for your support!

Sounds great! Thanks for the update!!

Just be careful about US Postal. I've had USPS guarantee delivery by Christmas for one of my products last year and they completely screwed us on 100+ orders. The person inside the post office can't guarantee anything and has no control, the post office always gets a backlog this time of year. So you might want to try to start shipping units a few days before the cut-off just to be sure. I hope this helps!

Thank you Steven, I wasnt trying to make anybody mad. I just want to make sure I was sending everyone's package to the right address.

I didn't even know there was an option to not fill out a survey... Always seemed like it was kind of important anyway...

    17. Nicholas Hartzler on December 7, 2012

Whats your problem Elias. How difficult is it to fill out a short survey? Not to mention these surveys often have important details to collect that benefit you directly. And you also seem to be one of those backers that have yet to grasp the concept of being a backer.

    18. Bob Coulston Creator on December 6, 2012

      Hello Elias,

I am new to Kickstarter, I am not asking you to fill out the survey if your shipping address is the same as listed on your Amazon account. Kickstarter doesn't allow the campaign creator to see your address until it is over. So no worries I will just use the address that Kickstarter gives me at the end. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for your support!

Excuse me but did I just read correctly that if I don't fill out your survey you're not shipping my product? You have my correct information when I placed my order and trusted you with my funds. I am not providing you with anymore info. If this is a problem, please refund my purchase.

Appreciate the communication, and excited to be shooting rubber bands about! ^_^

Great idea! Thanks for your advise and help! I have made a note to include that. Thanks for your support!

    22. Protium on December 6, 2012

Is there a way on the survey to indicate that there is no need for me to get it by Christmas? That way you would not kill yourself getting them out.
