Most are blind to what's happening, and maybe so are you, but the signs are out there. A butchered couple reported as ‘Street Crime,’ a school shooting where not a single shot was fired, a severed head that disappeared into evidence, a homeowners association that meets only in secret.
I don’t know what is out there, not exactly, but I know they ARE there. Maybe you won't encounter one, maybe they won't visit your town, but wherever they do go only death follows. It's best to prepare while you can.
Horrors is a tabletop rpg where players take the roles of unassuming victims in a horror movie. It's a race against time as the players have to investigate and discover what the killer is and how to defeat it... before they become it's next target.
As the GM, build the monster or killer of your nightmares, carefully choosing it's abilities and weaknesses, then release it on your players as they desperately try to bumble their way to victory, or at least survival.
Horrors is a tense game of investigation and discovery. The player characters aren't monster hunters or demon slayers, but everyday people who suddenly have to deal with the monster that is after them. Although they can, and sometimes must, fight back the PC's best options are often to run or hide until you can figure out what the Horror is and how you can kill it.
The Horror won't be easy to figure out as the GM creates his own unique monster from the given rules. You will be able to make just about anything, from classics like vampires and werewolves, to newer horrors like animatronic bears or tall faceless men and everything in between. All Horrors have a weakness, though, so even if you make something tough doesn't mean it will be unbeatable.
In a world of modern technology all evidence of the existence of monsters and magic are dismissed. Even when bodies start appearing with strange wounds the police will find an excuse to dismiss the truth. Then there are the strange serpent symbols that are being worn by the judges and politicians; the same symbol seen in ancient tomes and at the sites of ritualistic murders...
Play a short campaign consisting of a few sessions, or go for a full series where the Horror becomes even more terrifying every time it comes back from the dead and the PCs try to unravel the conspiracy behind it all.

Risks and challenges
This book will take much longer than my previous ones, mostly because the art is so good it takes some time.
But that means even if there was a major delay on my end (like last time), it won't effect the book as much because we will still be waiting for the art to be finished.
