Bogoss is French slang for "cutie" or "hottie". So anytime a hot guy is spotted in France, one can hear "wow, look at that Bogoss" in French. Thankfully, beautiful guys are everywhere on the planet, and this is what our book on male illustrations wants to show: they are in the park, on the subway, at the beach or the gym; they could even be people we know, friends we cook with, work with or simply chill out with.
The book aims to celebrate the many sides of "everyday sexiness"; over 50 illustrators have expressed their version of it in their own style in a sexy but respectful way (no pornography allowed). The graphic styles are incredibly varied, from colored pencils on paper to digital art or even traditional paintings. Some drawings are realistic, others are more related to comics or manga, but together they offer a rich and colorful accounts of sexy men today.
You can see some of the art from the book on our Tumblr page: Bogossbook

Risks and challenges
One of the main challenge of this Kickstarter is that the book is targeted in part for a niche market (LGBT) and may not generate enough contributors. But having said that, it is also a very well connected market and the offer on such books is not great at present, so it is also an opportunity for LGBT lovers of art. The aim is to release the book in November so that people could offer it to loved ones for Christmas.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
