If you LOVE "The Office", "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and/or Christopher Guest Movies ("Best in Show", "Waiting for Guffman", "A Mighty Wind", "This is Spinal Tap") - or anything with crazy odd ball characters - then you will love this movie! Hilarious Professional NYC Comics and Actors shall improvise movie based on outline by Evan Schultz (also director) leading to major competition. But the crazy contestants are nothing compared to the drama from the Professional Organization Of Poggz itself!
WE NEED YOUR HELP? It costs money to make a movie. But it does not always cost $1-100 million. We have the talent and the crew to do this right for so much less. AND YOU CAN BE A PART for as little as $1! Your contributions do a number of things. 1) Help us raise the money we need to get the movie itself made - paying talent and crew, travel, sound, lighting editing etc. 2) Market the movie to Festivals, Distributors for Theatrical Release and DVDs Worldwide, Cable & Internet Outlets (Netflix, Showtime etc buy indy films every day) and more. 3) Help us show the industry that we have the support we need from you that there is a market for this movie AND out talents.
WHY SUPPORT THIS PROJECT? Chances are if you are reading this than you know someone in this project either in front or behind the camera. You are helping out their career. If nothing else by helping an actor get a job that actor/actress/techie will ask you to buy them one less lunch LOL PERHAPS OR you are in the Kickstarter community of backers. I have personally backed a number of other projects - some because I know someone, some because I really want to see the finished project, OR a few to simply get samples from cookie bakers and candy makers. YUM!
Everyone is capable of throwing in $1 to help us out. But for JUST $20 you can be one of the first to see this film via digital download OR tickets to our NYC Premier. For $25 we will mail a Preview DVD. So we are not asking something for nothing. THANKS TO ALL that have already given and THANKS in advance to YOU as you are about to CLICK on of those buttons to the right.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
With any film, raising funds to film, cut and distribute project can be tricky.
Our first stumbling might arise from scheduling the cast. We originally started this project almost a year ago. Due to schedules of the director and producers we have put off filming for this Spring. We don't want to recast but fear getting the same cast - one we fell in love with a year ago - will have its challenges. However worst case scenario we have an amazing network of Improv performs in New York.
Being our first feature the distribution and festival market is a bit scary. I plan to reach out to many experienced producers i know from being an actor on Commercials and TV. I may have to give up some producer credit, points etc but more than willing to benefit from the educational experience.
UNION - So I am a SAG actor. But producing a union project can add a number of unforeseen costs. We want to go SAG so we can benefit from dozens name comics (folks you have seen on Letterman, Leno etc) that do these sorts of projects and help bring distribution deals. Fortunately I know the union well as an actor and there are amazing resources at the NYC office. The second funding is in place we are going to sign the film up with SAG AFTRA (Ultra Low Budget) and immediately call up a few favors in the comedy community LOL
SOUND - on our week points in producing videos in the past has been sound. So we are now in the market for a good sound designer to at least consult if not sign on to the project. Folks are forgiving of less than perfect visual. But you can't close your ears. (Not to worry, we will a great HD pro quality visual too!)
