Its been 6 years since the fog rolled in, and with it brought a bunch of creatures that will tear you apart for food. Many months after they came we realised that most of them are are blind and hunt by sound, so you will have to be very cautious when moving through towns and city's to not alert them.
Equip your self with whatever you can find but remember if you fire a gun be prepared for the consequences.
Descending is a hardcore survival game in which you go around the large open world finding supplies to keep alive if you die you lose everything.

Risks and challenges
When it comes to making games, I have no problem coming up with stories or fun gameplay mechanics, but i inevitably have to turn to others for artistic needs. but the work needed to take Descending to the commercial level is not something i can ask an artist to provide for free. The risk involved with this arrangement is that it is essentially putting the project's future in the hands of an artist. i can advise and monitor the progress but if the artist decides to give up on the project or takes an unduly long time, im hit with a setback that i can't do much about i would like to think that paying someone for the work would ensure its completion, but collaborator mishaps are always possible.
Creating a game that meets everyone's expectations is a challenging task - especially because everyone has different expectations for what the game will be. Even our expectations for the game right now are probably quite different than the finished project. This is the nature of game development and to lock in the design based on early decisions is dangerous for the quality of the game.
I am completely dedicated on getting this game made whether i meet the funding goal or not, but obviously it will take a lot longer.
