About this project
You read that correctly, all you have to do is spend $4 and you can start playing the game as soon as the campaign is over. For only $4 you will receive the rules and a couple of printable materials to help with the game. Just a reminder: at this level you will have to provide your own deck of cards.
For a little bit more, you can own your very own deck of cards with the SUIT WAR logo emblazoned on the back so you can proudly show everyone what game you are playing. This is a standard deck of cards so you can use it for any other game you might want to play as well.
What is SUIT WAR?
SUIT WAR is a fun and easy, 3-4 player game for all ages that only requires one deck of cards and a way to keep score! Rounds are short so you can squeeze a quick game in, or continue to battle on!
It has elements of 7 card draw, and war, but is its own unique game. You must use luck and strategy to attack or defend against your opponents.
How to play
First, everyone will choose a suit to represent them.
Then everyone is dealt two "hole" cards that can be used at any time.
After that, everyone is dealt 5 cards, with the first one coming face up.
These 7 cards are your arsenal that you use to attack and defend. AND....
For the rest of the rules and a couple of downloadable material to help you play the game, just click and donate some money and you can start playing with your friends and family very soon.
How KICKSTARTER works
This is an "all or nothing" campaign. So if I do not hit my target goal of $500, then you don't get charged a thing and the campaign is not successful. If I do go above $500 then you will be charged at the end of the campaign.
Where the money goes
All of the money is going to be spent on printing out the custom deck of cards and for the postage to mail it out to you.
Thank you so much for your contributions and for sharing the word with your friends and family! Now, lets play!
Risks and challenges
The biggest challenge deals with the amount of playing cards that will have to be ordered. The more decks I can order, the cheaper per unit they will be, which is great! However, if I only have to order a smaller amount, then the price per unit becomes a lot more expensive. This is why I set the price at $500, which will fully cover a minimum order of 50 decks of cards. But hopefully you want more decks than that, so I can actually have enough money to invest in the company and create more exciting card games.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
