Tassie Game Studios has nothing against the great country of Australia or its wonderful people, but it's really far away. Like super far. Australians don't notice it because you're right there. I mean you're touching Australia right now... unless you're jumping in the air (but if you are, you're going to land any second). But for us in Canada and the games we make, it's a really long trip, and that costs money. I mean, I'd love to be able to just pop over to Australia and deliver the games myself, but until some mad scientist straps rockets onto the entire continent and moves it 30,000 miles north that just isn't possible.
If you want to back the game, but don't want to pay the international shipping, there is always the $10 backer level "Extra". You will get a PDF of the finalized cards complete with all the new art. You can print it out, cut it up, sleeve it and play. If you think about it though, by the time you've paid for ink, quality paper, sleeves for 120+ cards, and used your own valuable time to print, cut and sleeve the whole thing, that's practically worth the price of shipping alone. Just saying.
