Thanks for sharing this. Gives an amazing insight of how technically skilled he was and yet so pasionate with the project. A great way to honour his memory. RIP Rick.

@Wong Tang Fung With all due respect; but be silent. The project will do more damage to Rick's name/memory if it was hurried at this stage, and released with serious issues, that this small team cannot afford. Whether you think you are disgraceful or not has no bearing on any actual truth. The fact is after several comments with you still calling him by the wrong name proves that that you are disrespectful or stupid, or both. Don't go away mad just go away.

Just not enough respect to get RICK’s name right, even after being corrected in a direct reply after your previous message?

    4. Wong Tang Fung on

I respect Dick as much as anyone of you and I did not think I am disgraceful. The team should solve the outstanding issues and ship the ZX Spectrum Next to us as soon as possible!

    5. Iestyn Davies on

Wong Tang Fung, you talk of disgrace whilst acting in a totally disgraceful manner yourself. You should be ashamed of yourself, although trolls rarely are!

Wong Tang Fung, I find your comment quite distasteful, out of the line and completely unrelated to the topic of this update which is to honor the memory of a great person and top notch professional.

It's such a shame Rick never got to see his design come to fruition, but I think we're all really happy he was able to have the input he did in the project.

Also, regarding one of the previous comments posted, I don't think for one second that delays to the ZX Next project are a disgrace to Rick's memory at all. Quite the opposite, in fact I believe Rick (with an 'R' not a 'D') would have been a subscriber to the idea that it takes as long as it takes to do the project justice.

Thanks, guys, for keeping his memory alive.

I felt sorry for the lost of Dick. But your team have disgraced him for not bringing the ZX Spectrum Next to the backers after losing him for one year.
