"No Filter" free tracks

Dear backers of "The Turn",

Some of you have backed my new Kickstarter for an all analog pressing of "No Filter" and it's been comforting for me to notice some familiar names.

None of this would have been possible without the success of "The Turn". As a thank you, I wanted to share a couple of preview tracks with you, at 96/24. You can download them here:

https://we.tl/TZAIzPg6Ux (the link is valid for one week)

Mastering Engineer Bernie Grundman gave us a few options to choose from in the beginning and, after extensive listening, we ended up going with no EQ, which allowed us to bypass the mastering board for an even purer signal path.

For the vinyl, Bernie has cut a test lacquer of a song two ways, one on his solid state lathe and one on his tube lathe. We're going to pick the one that sounds best to us to cut the vinyl directly from the tape.

I hope you will enjoy the music and consider supporting this Kickstarter as well, if you haven't done so already.

LPs have been sent!

Dear backers,

Your LPs are on their way! After a couple of epic packaging sessions and the mother of all post office runs, I am happy to report that I've sent the LPs to everyone who ordered an LP and answered the survey for addresses on Kickstarter. I will be sending personal emails to the few people whose addresses I am missing.

They might take a while to get to you, especially those of you who are far from the US but I wanted to let you know.

I am proud of the final result and I hope it will meet your expectations. I cannot thank you enough for your collective support and understanding. It's safe to say that this vinyl would never have seen the light of day, if not for you.

Any and all feedback you might have for me is welcome, of course.

THANK YOU!

Until next time (stay tuned ...)

Jerome

And meanwhile, some pictures of the final steps...

Dear backers,

The new jackets arrived a few days ago and they are good. I spend most of today packing your LPs. As you can imagine, it's a time-consuming process and I got about half of them done. I am printing postage for them on Tuesday at a friend's house and I hope to finish packing them that day. I will let you know when they ship. It will be soon, I promise.

Thanks for your support.

Dear backers,

QRP sent me a box of the final copies expedited so I could have some handy for my vinyl release concert in New York a few days ago. They look and sound great (see photos)! The rest is arriving tomorrow. I will ship as soon as I can after that. I will keep you posted. I can't wait to get these to you!

Thanks for your support!

Jerome
