RED BAND! is quite literally the worst story ever told. Originally published as a novella from Deaf Mute Press, demand has dictated that it be adapted into a comic book series.
Story: Jay Franklin
Artwork: Stefano Cardoselli (Heavy Metal & Bluewater Comics) and Mark Lone (Rise of the Mutant Underground & Deaf Mute Comic titles)
The team working on RED BAND! have numerous published titles under their belt and promise to bring the best possible comic book the original source material can provide.
Follow the main character Ritchey as he and his girl Darla fight their way through the Texas State Fairgrounds from hordes of the reanimated dead. They are forced to flee for their lives when a relaxing day at the fair goes horribly wrong. The fair grounds are taken over by zombies infected from genetically mutated hot sauce. Dr. Ribs, the self professed "Rib King" had scientists develop the worlds hottest hot suace so America could take back the title from the French. Little did he know that his new sauce would literally melt the brains of those who eat the sauce.
This story is not to be missed, the comic will include the "lost" chapters not in the original novel, plus the introduction of two all new characters. This IS the story to invest in, invest in our future to bring you the worst story ever told.
Don't be shy! Be a part of the comic that will change the world...or not.
RED BAND! concieved as a story so bad it is good has become a cult success in the publishing world. The comic series is being developed to present to major comic book companies for publication. This is to cover the production cost of the first issue as a proposal to select publishers. At worst, this will be released independently via Deaf Mute Comics.
We are ironing out the details, but there will be different sketches depending on the pledge. Look for additional info in the next few days.
