My project is an upcoming a solo exhibition titled, “Post-Millennial
Tension.” In May of last year, I received an invitation from The Jones Alumni
Gallery at The University of Memphis to mount a solo exhibition in their new
gallery space in Spring 2012 .
My upcoming show is important because it marks an important transition
in my career as an artist as well as a major shift in the development of ideas
that I have been working with for many years. The work will span video, photography, and painting
Honestly, I can’t express how excited, pleased and nervous I
am to begin production this project, your funding assistance would allow me the
resource of much needed time and means to dig further than I ever have before within
myself to stretch higher and further to not only meet the expectations brought
on by this important situation and venue but also to manifest ideas and
concepts in a much stronger way than I have ever been able to do in the past.
By supporting my
Kickstarter project, you will help me pay for production costs for
