      Hi Randy,

My intention is not to pull you into some Kickstarter drama, but do you have any contact information for Tom Baker, the "photographer" from Oregon from the Airtracks project? http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/baker/airtracks-inflatable-all-terrain-camera-slider/

In one of his first (and few) updates, he mentioned he was in contact with your team (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/baker/airtracks-inflatable-all-terrain-camera-slider/posts/342587) -- he received your samples and encouraged us to also back your project. That's the only good thing that has come from his Airtracks project that now looks like it was a scam.

Since Airtracks was successfully funded months ago, he has given sparse and inaccurate/dishonest updates, and now the ship date estimate has come and past. Tom Baker is silent and unresponsive (even though we see that he is logging into his Kickstarter account every few days).

Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. I was a backer with two MilliMounts, so you should be able to email me directly if that is what would work best.

      Thanks,

      Jonathan

Tom - Thank you for understanding the shipping situation we were in. It's difficult to offer an international reward with the other options that start at a higher cost than the actual reward.
I'm glad you've got your MilliMounts and hope you can share some great photos and videos made with it!
      Cheers!

Mine arrived in the UK today - by the looks of it the international part of the shipping took almost 7 weeks, it appears to have passed through Germany or The Netherlands so I wonder if it was sent by sea! Either way, not Randy's fault.

The product looks and works great - well done Randy and family!

Rob - Glad you like the project, turned product, and we hope to get our website renovated for the storefront and for the the gallery of uses. We've seen shots of the MilliMount without the phone as a 2nd phone/camera is needed... maybe it's time for some contests to show the MilliMount in cool places and the winner gets another MilliMount and iPod with a camera. Just a thought, but again, it's all because of the MilliMount backers!

@ Thy - I'm glad your already doing what we hoped... experimenting and finding new ways to use the MilliMount! Just yesterday, I found a way to mount my phone under my cabinet using the slot and not the thread. Also, I'll post pictures of 10 basic uses - including the wall dock with a rubber band :)

      Cheers!

Dying to see more details on the 'basic' positions and functionality so fingers crossed that you can post that and obviously encourage others to show off what THEY are doing with the millimount! Just a basic walk through on positions would be fantastic. I will keep checking the spatial studios site but Randy, BIG thanks and congrats to you and your family for all the hard work and best of all, a truly amazing product!!

Kyle - Thank you for your feedback and suggestion for additional holes as a way to expand. Have you removed the black rubber pad? This opens the range by several millimeters. I hoped to spend more time on the documentation to illustrate the removal of it for larger phones.
      Cheers!

The initial impression from the site to me was that most phones (with or without cases) would fit. After struggling with my Evo LTE I was upset that it didn't work even with the real thin plastic case I'm using currently. After modifying the rubber insert and cutting some of it off I still had the original spring that the product has at a larger opening of the arms. Instead of having to slide the phone in the side, I can insert the phone from the front. The build quality and design are superb and very sturdy. I don't exactly know how you could make it adjustable for larger or smaller phones while leaving the rubber piece intact but perhaps multiple holes in the arm for adjustment might be in order? Would I recommend this to a friend? Most definately.

Also, In the first batch of shipments, the instructions to remove the pad for larger phones (such as the Galaxy S3) were not prominent, so we made that update.

I just got my Millimount in the mail and was very excited. At first I thought my S3 wouldnt' fit in it but I had to really stretch it open to get it in there. Was afraid at first it would break, but it didn't and fits snugly. I'd have to say the S3 is the biggest phone it can take. Can't wait to fire up my SketchUp skills (the few I have) and try to get a mount made so I can put it on my DLSR.

I thought the mount would work with my new phone Samsung Note 2. But far from it, now I am disappointed. The quality of the unit seems to be sound. But, I sure thought I had asked if it would would fit, since I was planning to purchase the Note 2 (but it took longer than I thought to get it). Are there any plans to make an extended arm to allow the Note 2 to work.
