Do you remember the first time you set eyes on The Invisible Dog? Did you fall in love at first sight like we did?
The Invisible Dog is embarking upon its 8th season and we wish to start by saying, “We Love YOU!” Because of you, we are able to flourish here on Bergen Street and sustain a communal discussion dedicated to art, performance and imagination that extends beyond our gallery walls. It is because of your financial support and trust that every year we surpass our Kickstarter Goals—this year we will raise more $25000 with your contribution.
Every dollar you donate goes directly to support original work made at The Invisible Dog. These performances, exhibitions, and installations show the passion, talent and skill of our beloved artists - which is shared around the block and around the world. Every dollar you give allows us to realize our biggest and brightest dreams. Your investment gives us energy, courage and heart that we are proud to return to you at 51 Bergen Street.
With that said, “Thank you!”
Thank you for directly supporting the dreams and aspirations of the artists we love and believe in. Thank you for being a part of The Invisible Dog family—we’re better because of you.
For our 8th Season, we’ve planned amazing exhibitions and performances that will change the way you feel the world. We’re thrilled that you will experience the work of artists who have been with us from the very beginning as well as artists who have just found a home with us on Bergen. As we continue to create relationships with cultural institutions around the world we remain committed to following the dream that began in 2009 when we opened The Invisible Dog at 51 Bergen Street.
Special thank you (again) to Mac Premo and Tattly for MAKE AMERICAN INVISIBLE AGAIN and to all the artists who have donated a part of their talent to support this season at The Invisible Dog and offered you these beautiful rewards

Risks and challenges
There are risks inherent to programming cultural presentations and managing a facility as large and old as ours. We typically program one year ahead of time, and in the months leading up to an opening, the scope of the project may change demanding a change in scheduling or venue. Our building is well-maintained, but as with any structure, occasionally repairs need to be made that might delay or alter our programming. However, we are well-aware of the types of challenges we face, and as we have been in business for four years, we have developed a strong ability to make decisions in the present that offset risk in the future. Moreover, our staff has over a decade of producing experience, and as such, we know how to meet challenges calmly and with an innovative approach to solutions.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
