I'm happy to announce that the images you helped me create will be exhibited at the brand new Jewish center community center in the town of Oswiecim itself! This is a wonderful opportunity to share a side of the story of life after Auschwitz that is rarely seen. About a million people travel through Auschwitz every year, and the hope is to reach them so they see a more nuanced perspective of modern-day history.
The show will take place in May and I am hoping to be there in person myself to set it up and meet everyone in person during the opening. In order to get to Poland I am raising funds off-site, but am offering limited edition photo prints to those who can help out. If you would be willing to contribute to this, please be in touch through this site or contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once again I am so grateful for all of your support!
If you'd like to see the images once again, here they are on my website.
I'm happy to say that my project on the town of Oswiecim has been published in several places. Just wanted to share some links with you so you can see how your contributions helped make this project a reality. Thanks to you I was able to spread the word about this complex issue to thousands of people.
I plan on continuing this work sometime this year, and may start another Kickstarter campaign. I'll be sure to keep you posted on my progress.
Prints have arrived! I'll be sending them out in the coming week.
Here is a BIG THANK YOU to Nick Rodrigues from Printmakers Inc for his outstanding contribution to this project!!!! If you ever need photo prints made visit his company's website at http://www.printmakersinc.com.
